Netflix의 OJ Simpson 사건을 다룬 drama Season 1 Episode 4 앞 부분에서 이토 판사와 경찰인 듯한 부인과 나눈 대화에서 as you were를 잘 못 번역하였다.

I'm so proud of you. As you were, Captain York.

그러나 As you were는 다음과 같은 뜻이다.

"As you were" is a standard military command. It means, literally, "[return] to your previous posture". Soldiers must snap to a formal "attention" position when an officer enters their presence, and the officer issues this command to indicate they may resume their prior activities.

How to Resist Naughty Food Cravings

Last Updated: January 16, 2020 References

Many foods could be viewed as "naughty" when consuming them results in unusual behavior (disguising it, lying, etc.), or leaves you with feelings of guilt, remorse, and dissatisfaction. For example, it might be the chocolate, cookies, cakes, and fast food that you crave. If you're justifying "just one or two" here and there every day, you may soon have a big problem. Make good new habits to prevent yourself from giving into those cravings while you try to stay healthy or even lose weight.

Rush somebody off one's feet: to cause somebody to be very busy.

I've been rushed off my feet all morning.

These days we all seem to be rushed off our feet.

It harbors significant risk for countries like Russia that try to implement a strategy.

Italy harbors many of the same problems as France and in many respects has the same outlook.

East Sea harbors deep scars from a painful past. In the first half of the 20th century, Japan robbed Korea of its national sovereignty.

In my baseline view,  while I do believe it will likely take some time for economic activity and the labor market to fully recover from the pandemic shock, I do project right now that the economy will resume growth starting in the third quarter. (2020/06/16 FRB speeches)

I speak for someone when I say .....

I speak for my colleagues throughout the Federal Reserve System when I say, there is no place at the Federal Reserve for racism and there should be no place for it in our society. Everyone deserves the opportunity to participate fully in our society and in our economy.

(speak for someone/something) to represent the feelings or opinions of another person or group of people

E.g.) I know I speak for us all when I say how sorry I am for this mistake

I am salty.  I hold a grudge

(I don't think you are a Princeton material.)'

"But that statement, while I was to get over it, it was a punch. I am still a little salty about that. I am a little salty about it.

Is he salty that I have more Youtube subscribers than him?

Am I salty that I didn't get born into a family of billionaires?

She asked me, "sweet or salty".   I'm more of a salty type of guy.

Our optimism has been replaced with the realilty

Dear XX

I hope that you and your family are well.  When we corresponded back in early March, we were very optimistic about the possibility of having an in-person meeting in June. As the weeks and months have passed and the situation and the effects of COVID have worsened, our optimism has been replaced with the reality that we still face significant state, national, and international quarantines and travel restrictions.

Given that, unfortunately we will be unable to visit your offices on June 3 in-person.  We appreciate all of the arrangements (and rearrangements) that you’ve made. We would be happy to arrange for a virtual meeting on June 3 (or otherwise) if you’d like that includes a “meet and greet” with the incoming FASB Chairman.

We appreciate your continued understanding and look forward to connecting in the future.
