그러나, I paid in excess of $100. 라는 문장은 보면 해석은 되겠지만 영작할 때 이렇 쓸 생각은 들지 않을 것이다. 그저 I paid more than $100.라고 하겠지. 그래서 이런 틀로 쓰인 문장을 익혀 두어야 하겠다.
