do oneself a favor

'~하면 더 좋을 것이다.' 라고 얘기할 때 언제나 "It would be better for sb to do sth"만 떠오른다.

그런데 'do oneself a favor'를 쓰면 더 좋을 때가 있을 듯하다. 뜻은 to make things easier for oneself (by doing something)

You can do yourself a favor by arriving early at the airport.란 예문이 보인다.
