실제는 아니지만 그렇게 보이는 모습을 나타낼 때 쓸 수 있다. 영작하려면 동사로 seem이나 appear 아니면 seemingly 같은 낱말 밖에 생각이 안나겠지만, 영어는 명사로 이런 식으로 쓸 수 있으니 알아 두어야 겠다.
