A: It was off-putting.
B: You should be off-pudding. You shouldn't eat pudding.
Host인 A가 불쾌하다(off-putting)고 얘기하니까 guests인 B가 off-pudding이라고 얘기한다 하지만 A는 off-putting으로 알아들으니 B가 off-pudding이라고 말하고자 You shouldn't eat pudding이라고 한다.
Off-putting은 뭔가 좀 마음에 들지 않거나 적절하지 않은 물건, 사람, 상황 등을 말할 때 쓸 수 있다
